The goal is to bring interest to the album and attract more attention to promote the music. Kali Malone, an organist and composer from the United States, is currently residing in Stockholm.This album implements an amazing unique tuning systems in minimalist form for analog and digital synthesis often combined with acoustic instrumentation. The main objective of this project was to both promote and convey the essence of Kali Malone’s album.

PROCESS

Malone’s albums are characterized by an exploration of distinct emotional, dynamic, and expressive tones, which evoke a captivating depth of focus.I aimed to design a poster that encapsulates the spirit of the music and appeals to audiences of all ages. . Additionally, I envisioned infusing some dynamism into the poster to evoke the same focus and movement that I experience while listening to the music.

OUTCOME

For my poster, I chose a photo I took spontaneously in my room. When I returned home from school, I felt a bit lost and disconnected, so I found myself lying on my bed, deep in thoughts. Without much thinking, I grabbed my camera and snapped a picture of the reflection in my window, even though it seemed random. Later, as I looked at the image, I realized it did not only captured my mood at that moment but also echoed the serene and focused vibes of Kali Malone’s music.
